Ventower Announces East Coast Expansion
MONROE, MI - Ventower Industries, Monroe, Michigan, announced today that it has made the decision to locate its second manufacturing facility, which will produce towers and foundations for on-shore and off-shore wind turbines, on the East Coast of the United States.
“With construction of our Monroe, Michigan facility well under way and scheduled to be operational during the 2nd Quarter of 2011, it is time to move forward with the process of identifying and selecting the site of our next manufacturing facility. The East Coast of the United States is an ideal location for Ventower II to expand our manufacturing and production capabilities. Both of our facilities will serve our customers in on-shore as well as off-shore applications using our advanced manufacturing techniques”, said Gregory Adanin, CEO of Ventower Industries.
Scott J. Viciana, company Vice President, has been authorized to identify and evaluate suitable locations along the eastern US coastline. “In addition to site(s) evaluation activities and effective immediately, Ventower will locate its Sales and Marketing office in Williamsburg, Virginia in an effort to get closer to our key customers and projects under consideration along the eastern seaboard”, noted Adanin.
